My Taiwan trip in Jul last yr.... Ok... This was a work cum holiday trip. Been to some places I've not been to before. 1st experience watching MAYDAY concert overseas!!! In the rain some more!!!

Even the tour guide commented on our itinerary was quite rush to go so many places in just 3 days!

Our 1st stop was Hsinchu. When we reached was dinner time, the tour guide brought us to a Chinese restaurant the food there was not bad, but as u can see in my pics... quite oily though.

The bun looks interesting! The center filling is not real filling.... it's just flour... but they made it look interesting.

Our hotel room.

Cam whoring! Guess where I was in the pic on the right?? Lol... no prize tough.

Look at this Key chain.... Bottle opener? Looks like... But we were told, if you lose the keychain (not the key!) You gotta pay 2000NT!! WAT!! Y would the hotel wanna use GEORGE JENSON's key chain for the hotel key? Well, anyway we never tried to open any bottles with that as we all obviously don't wanna pay!!

Btw it was only 1 nite in this hotel. The next day, we were on the move to Taichung.

Exploring the Hsinchu streets before we call it a nite. We tried their famous meat ball soup. Their bottled green tea is nicer than our local 1s!!

Day 2, We went to this temple...

Pic centre bottom, were all the blessings/wishes from visitors who visited the temple.

Top right pic, tour guide showing a "Qi Lin", a unicorn like creature with a note rolled up in its mouth. Believed by the business men, with it placed at their shop, it will help in to bring in wealth (business).

Anybody wanna try mushroom ice cream??? Erm... I'm not a mushroom fan....

Our Taichung hotel. There's a little pantry!

While exploring the streets of Taichung before we head off for concert, there's this autograph session by this artiste outside the mall. Erm... not really sure who he was. Tang Yu Zhe, from the Chinese name behind him.

As the timing for concert was in between dinner time, so our dinner had to be settled by ourselves. We went 7 eleven, their sandwiches were so fresh!! Just look at the filling of pic centre bottom pic! We were too hungry b4 we remembered to snap pics so our pics of sandwiches had already taken a bite!! Instant noodles incase we were hungry after concert.

Finally... we got into the stadium after the long wait.

Becos of the rain, there was some delay.

Look at the sign the lady was holding, "No standing on the seats, No food & drinks & No photography". Though the photography can't be prevented, but the Taiwanese really heed the no standing on seats rule! Unlike last concert in S'pore stadium, was also a rainy day, field was also wet & all was standing on the seats!! In TW, everyone stood on the grass instead so the view wasn't blocked as bad as standing on the seats!! Also no risk off falling of the seat too...

The starting of the concert was interesting!! As I mostly attended indoor concert, this was outdoor, the starting of the concert, they spurt water at the audience near the stage!! Erm... yea we were seating in the 1st few rows!! Followed by some fireworks!! Wat a way start the concert!!
