Is my lappy dying on me soon?

Time flies....  I remembered I've blogged that I've brought a new lappy.... Didn't realised it was in 2008! It's been coming 2yrs!!

It's not the 1st time the screen turns out like this.....
Lappy

Lines..... It happened last month as well while I was installing some programe.... At 1st, all my USB ports were not working... I panicked!! I thought it caught virus... Did virus scan detected nothing. I thought of installing another virus programe. When I start to run it, it turns to this screen!! I couldn't go into windows!! Even if i restarted, still this screen.... When I went into safemode, Im  able to delete the virus programe and able to  access into windows again... phew! Luckily there's this system restore to last few settings. So I can go back to the settings before I installed that virus programe...

The 2nd time I saw this screen was only few days ago!!
This time I restarted it turns back to normal.

Lappy
I see my Birdie!! I hope this lappy's life span is not 2yrs only... Dun die on me after ur 24 months warranty!!!

Childhood Cartoons!!!

I remember watching this cartoon called The Smurfs during childhood days.
They are a bunch of blue beings with main characters like Papa Smurf in red, Smurfette the only girl character & the guy don't remember his name. Also the evil Gargamel and his cat! After many many years of not watching them on tv as there was no more cartoon on smurfs, but they are still fresh in my mind and are not forgotten!! When I saw this news on yahoo news that they are making The Smurfs movie, I was like YAY!! The Smurfs!!! They are back after sooo sooo long!!

There were many more popular cartoons during our childhood times which accompanied before they were phased out and taken over by the new generation cartoons. The new generation cartoons I personally feel that they have lost the humour and a natural touch. They are too unrealistic and violent for kids to watch and they tend to immitate after watching.

I do still prefer the all time classic which is no longer shown on our tv screens... like Garfield, Heathcliffe, The Pink Panther, The Flinstones.... etc. There are many many which are not in memory now...

Above mentioned are English cartoons. There are some mandrin cartoons which were all time favourites as well are Doremon (known as Xiao Ding Dang). Now Ch 8 still air it on Sun mornigs but somehow the feeling of the old times have changed. Maybe  its the voiceover... now they call Doremon direct translate as Do-La-Eh-Mon instead of Xiao Ding Dang which sounds weird. The other classic comic cartoon is Lao Fu Zhi.... which we seldom see new comic books on this character & his gang in the stores nowadays...
