Halloween Horror Nights 2 2012

We booked the early bird tickets @$60 in Aug looking forward to finally Oct for this Halloween Night event at Sentosa. There was slight disappointment as it was a rainy night and  over crowded for the atmosphere

When it was the day of the event, we were so excited and looking forward to go. But who knows the weather started to turn and rained heavily in the evening. But we had already bought our tickets so we just had to go.

During 1st week of the event, it was from 8pm-12am. As it was raining and we thought to skip one of the hunted house, the other hunted house was not sheltered, was closed for the time being, we went for the 3rd hunted house and to our disappointment we were made to queue for 2+hrs!!

 It was long winding tiring snake queue!! All the excitement was killed by queuing and seems more like a torture b4 you can visit the attraction. By the time we had finished our visit to this hunted house, it's considered end of the event as it's past 12 am and they are closing.

To our disappointment again we think it's due to the 1st week of overcrowding, they extended the hrs till 1am!! Not fair!!

 After the event, I saw a post on my frend's FB, she mentioned she visited all 3 hunted houses without queuing!! Next time get the express pass instead of the normal pass!! Lesson learnt!

Since it's already night, and we were not there for the other rides, the express pass seems more reasonable to us...

Only at night we get to see the Shrek Castle in fairytale like atmosphere.

  

Btw all photos are taken via Iphone 5. Photo quality & colours are better than Iphone 4. Even the screen lens is wider. Hmmm next target for Halloween is US!! Hopefully.... if not is HK.... It's really too boring to be spending time and $$ just by queuing!!

My iPhone collection abt a yr back... White iPhone 4 with some less than $10 casing.

My 3 yr old niece gave me a shock when she took my iPhone to meddle with it and returned to me with this screen. When you have exceed the number of tries with wrong password on the lock screen you'll  this. Luckily its only 1 min...

Cute paper mug from Hollywood hotel HK. The hand towel was folded in a cute way like alien head with 3 eyes stickers pasted on it. We were so afraid the 3 yr old would unfold as we do no know how to fold it back that way again. We had to keep it outta her reach...

Main course and chocolate cake at The Connoisseur Concerto (TCC). We only eat there when there is one-for-one promo on the main course during the Great Singapore Sale (GSS). Beef steak on pastry. Yummyz!! I ate all the raw veggies which I usually don't. I could stuff them between the meat and the pastry and stuff them into my mouth. I got too full to finish up my cake though...

Korean version Angry bird soda and sprite. Have yet to try out the angry bird soda...

Feeling the appearance of my LongChamp handbag looks too common, boring & old, I did a facelift to it...

Since I bought so many scarf in Bali..... It's time I should make use of them...

Pretty nails!

I did my nails again!! I bought the magnetic polish sometime ago & finally had time to try it on. As it needs to be applied thick wet so that the pattern will form nicely, will have to apply a finger at a time.

 The outcome!! Tahdah!! Only the slanted strips pattern turn out clear.

Just did this Pretty Gelish nails!! Same colour as my birdie...

Happy Mother's day to all mothers out there!

Happy mother's day to all mothers out there! Without u, there wouldn't be us. Mommy had done many many things for me which I can never repay back with $$. The only thing I can do for her is to take good care of myself...

I used to dislike her nagging like all mothers do, I used to think she loved my siblings more than me, I used to refuse to talk to her whenever I was angry over small issues, I used to go on hunger strike whenever she cooked food which I dislike, I used to think what she did was wat was supposed to be done by all mothers...

I came to realize... I was too spoilt rotten just like any other rebellious teens out there who  had the thinking that their mother were always against them. Becos mommy taught me not to hate, I do have my limits not to the extend like some immature kids to who insulted their mothers in public.

After all our mommies are the one who carried us for 9months & gave birth to us. The love us unconditionally despite how naughty we were when we were young. They love us more than they love themselves.

So naughty kids out there, pls take sometime to think over why your mums were always against you. Whatever they do they will always have you in their minds. If you think they are in the wrong just communicate with them nicely. All relationships starts with communications. After all, mums are the ppl who truly understands you better than yourself. Also to think of wat will happen to you if your mums were not to be around anymore?

To those who doesn't have mum around them, just remember you will always be loved by other ppl around you. Though the love of a real mum can't be compared, but if you look around you and you open your heart to ppl, you can feel that there are people around who will actually care for you no matter who you are.

Heehee the real & the fake flowers. Can you tell which is fake? Heh anyway I had already shown the real flowers. The fake flowers were for the office mommies. Though fake, it's the thought which counts. It feels good when you know you had made someone's day good too.
